We were started in 2008 as a community based team. Our goal has been to engage with different groups in our local area while promoting STEM education. We have stayed a small student run team that strives to provide hand on learning to our students and at the same time engage student in more than just building robots. We have done a number of different charitable activities over the years and been an active participant in the NAC, now SASA, advocacy efforts since 2014. We have also engaged in advocacy at the state level helping promote the bill that lead to recent funding legislation in North Carolina.
