Welcome to SASA

The Student Associasion for STEM Advocacy (SASA) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization founded in 2020 with the mission to strengthen, coordinate, and grow advocacy efforts by and for students. Comprised of passionate students, mentors, parents, volunteers, and experts, the association serves as a platform for fostering dialogue, organizing events, and implementing initiatives that support STEM education and after-school STEM programs like robotics. SASA runs the National Advocacy Conference annually each June in Washington, DC and promotes state advocacy efforts within STEM communities through state advocacy conferences. From advocating for inclusive educational policies and funding to championing the importance of STEM opportunities, SASA is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to advocate for the transformative potential of STEM education.

What is SASA?

SASA is the Student Association for STEM Advocacy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging students in advocating to expand STEM opportunities to underprivileged individuals and underserved communities. We have developed over 3000 informed, confident, and prepared student advocates over the last 10 years to make their voices heard within deferal, state, and local governments.
