On September 6th and September 7th, 2025, the Student Association for STEM Advocacy (SASA) is proud to present the Texas Advocacy Conference (TAC). Attendees only need to attend the event in one city, where the same event is being run twice in two days - one day in Houston and one day in Dallas. Each ticket is only valid for the city it was purchased for. During conference day, attendees will learn about the structure of the Texas government, how to conduct an effective advocacy meeting, and more! Florida State Advocacy Conference (FSAC)

The Florida State Advocacy Conference (FSAC) empowers students to influence STEM education policies by training them to advocate for robotics and STEM initiatives. SASA is excited to launch the first-ever FSAC on March 26th, 2025, leading into STEM Day at the Capitol on March 27. Participants will gain hands-on advocacy training before heading on the capitol to meet with their representatives and senators, championing support for FIRST and STEM programs. Pennsylvania Advocacy Conference of Technology (PACT)

On September 30th, 2024, the Student Association for STEM Advocacy (SASA) is proud to present the Pennsylvania Advocacy Conference of Technology (PACT). PACT is a one-day event, where attendees will spend the first half of the day learning about the structure of the Pennsylvania government, how to conduct an effective advocacy meeting, and more! After lunch, attendees will then be sent to conduct advocacy meetings with their legislators to expand after school STEM educational programs. California Advocacy Leadership Conference (CALC)

The 2024 SASA California Advocacy Leadership Conference (CALC) will take place from October 27th, 2024 to October 28th, 2024. CALC will take place in Sacramento, the capital of California, and attendees will spend the first day learning about various advocacy techniques, the structure of the CA government, legislative asks, and more! During the second day, attendees will then use the skills they learned to ultimately go and conduct effective advocacy meetings with their legislators to ultimately expand STEM education initiatives for students all over CA. New Jersey Conference (NJAC)

SASA will be hosting its inaugural New Jersey Advocacy Conference (NJAC) on October 2nd, 2024. During this one-day event, students will be trained on how to become effective advocates before heading to the capitol for meetings with their state legislators. Michigan Advocacy Conference (MAC)

The 2024 SASA Michigan Advocacy Conference (MAC) will take place on October 17th, 2024 in Michigan’s capital city, Lansing. MAC is a one-day event, where robotics students are taught how to hold meetings with their elected officials in the morning, and then apply their new skills in the afternoon advocating for the Robotics Competition Grant in the Michigan School Aid Budget. National Advocacy Conference

Advocate, drive positive change, and help expand STEM access across the country at the 2025 National Advocacy Conference. SASA’s flagship event will transition to its new home, the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC for NAC 2025. The 12th annual conference is building on its 2024 sellout success by graduating to a larger venue, allowing for more attendees and additional voices that need to be heard in Congress.
